All of our wedding cakes are iced with Buttercream Icing, unless it is stated below the picture that it is covered in Fondant Icing.

We understand the thrill you must be experiencing while planning your special event.  Julie Rosfeld owner and operator of I Dream of Cakes,  has been a part of many fun and important occasions, and we will be glad to share our photos and memories with you. To give you a fair representation of our work, we offer a wide variety of designs and flavors.
We use the freshest ingredients available, and we are most proud of our Buttercream  Icings... From beads to bows and beautiful florals,
your Dream Cake will enhance the most special of celebrations!  We do cakes for all occasions, Birthdays,Weddings, Bridal Showers, Over the Hill, Anniversaries,and more!

All though our cakes look like they are all done in Fondant Icing,, they are not,, we pride ourselves on our ability to do smooth or textured cakes with our Buttercream icings.  If the cake (s) are covered in Fondant icing, then we will state this below the picture.  We are also on Facebook.....Look around, and if you have any questions about a cake, contact us at Idreamofcakes@aol.com or call us between the hours of 9:30am and 5:30pm Tues through Friday and 9:30am to 12:00pm on Saturdays. We do not offer any copy righted character cakes,,

 We are located at 1 East Dayton Street in West Alexandria, Ohio only 30 minutes from Dayton and  Richmond Indiana..We are closed on Sundays and Mondays... We currently do not take credit or debit cards... We  do cake tastings for Wedding Cakes only.. To make sure we have time to spend with you for all your questions about our wedding cakes  please call us and set up an appointement for your cake tasting or consult today!..The  consult is free.  We do deliver our wedding cakes , up to an hour away, depending on locations,,Scroll to the bottom for a short list of pricing and flavors . We also carry a very large varity of our Famous Cake Bites... these are wonderful for parties, weddings, and any celebration you have.. our cakes mixed with flavored buttercreams then rolled up into a ball and hand dipped into chocolate,mmmm!

Our  Wedding Cake pricing varies due to complexity and set up .Our wedding cakes can start at 2.25 per serving.

Our 3-d sculpted cakes are priced by design, no less than 25 servings, these cakes take lots and lots and lots of time,, to create,  please respect the pricing..they start at 3.00 per serving.. and give us no less than 1 week notice, more if it is larger and more complex.. A reminder we currently do not take credit or debit cards at this time,, large cakes sometimes do not have a box that will fit it,, we have to give these cakes out without a box,, thank you for understanding.  If you could have a large flat space for your cake that would be great!

Prices will vary due to the complexity of the cake design.  We offer a variety of sizes and shapes for customized cakes.. Such as sheet cakes, oval cakes, round cakes, square cakes, heart cakes.....

You are more than welcome to stop by and take a look at our work anytime. For a taste of our cakes, fillings, and icings,we need to set an appointment,tastings are done for weddings only. We can hold any date with a deposit, once the deposit is given we will sketch out your dream cake!!! set your appointment today Thank you !

OUR VERY LARGE CAKES WILL NOT COME IN A BOX! That is why it is important to have a large flat clean surface with air when picking up your cake or cakes..
